Cruz'n with the Boy

I'm one of the only kids on the street without a scooter. That changes today.



I've tested everyone's (the 2 wheeler, 3 wheeler) having settled on a version that's purpose-built for adults. On order is my Xooter Cruz with the optional fender/brake and carrying strap. Done.

Father's Day Weekend

The Ludy's had us over Saturday to celebrate ML's birthday and to see Carolyn. Judy, of course, rolled out the culinary red carpet with some panko-fried chicken, mac and cheese, edamame salad, ice cream sandwiches and Elise's newly famous green bean salad. A great time was had by all.

Grilled Lobster

Saw these on sale Friday so I grilled 'em up. First time! Couldn't be easier:

split the tail in the top (hard side) with a knife
pull tail out to rinse then pat dry with paper towel
douse in some good olive oil (I use the Ludy mixture), season to taste with some of that Maryland crab stuff or whatever you like.
return to shell
grill 4 minutes (medium/300-350 degrees) on hard side, flip over for 3 more on softer side...then finish as needed to desired texture

draw some butter if that's your thing and enjoy.

Fresh Chin For The Golf

As nice as the car was when it arrived from Florida, the front valance (chin spoiler) was rashed and cracked. Why do people feel the need to connect with curbs and parking bumps when they park? And at such force?

Thank god the rims weren't rashed.
